3. Ticket Purchase and Refund Policy

3.1 General Ticket Policy

Tickets for events at the Pride Asian Film Festival are available for purchase through our official ticketing platform linked on this Site. All ticket sales are considered final. By purchasing a ticket, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy and to follow any event-specific rules and regulations.
All tickets must be purchased with the attending audience member’s full name and a valid email address. This ensures proper issuance, verification, and communication regarding your order.

3.2 Ticket Issuance and Entry Requirements

Tickets will be issued instantly on the order confirmation page upon successful payment. A confirmation email including your ticket(s) and receipt will be sent to your provided email address within five minutes of completing your purchase. Please check your spam and/or promotions folder if you do not see the email in your inbox before contacting us.
To gain entry to the venue, all attendees must present their ticket at the door. This can be done either by showing a printed version or displaying the ticket on a mobile device. Our staff will scan your ticket for verification at check-in.

3.3 Special Consideration Requests (Refund Policy Exception)
As a general rule, all ticket sales are final and non-refundable. However, in exceptional cases, refund or ticket exchange requests may be considered.

To be eligible for review, requests must:

Be submitted via email to info@prideasianfilmfestival.ca
Be received at least 72 hours before the scheduled showtime
Include the order number, event name, ticket-holder's name and email address
And a clear explanation of the reason for the request

Please note that:

Submission of a request does not guarantee approval
Requests received after the 72-hour window will not be considered
Approved refunds will not include the credit card processing fees and system transaction fees incurred for both the original payment and the refund
The Festival’s decision on each request is final

3.4 Event Cancellations or Changes
If the Festival cancels or reschedules an event, affected ticket holders will be notified by email. Depending on the circumstances, the Festival may offer a refund, a credit toward a future screening, or the option to transfer the ticket to another event. These options will be communicated on a case-by-case basis.

3.5 Ticket Transfers
Tickets are transferable to another individual. If you wish to transfer your ticket, please email info@prideasianfilmfestival.ca with your order details and the name and email address of the person who will be attending in your place. This helps us ensure smooth entry and communication.
