ANOTHER WORLD

Set within a richly imagined, fantastical world, the story follows souls journeying through a realm between death and reincarnation. A spirit guide known as Gudo accompanies a lost young girl, Yuri, as they traverse this unknown landscape. Through their journey, Gudo gradually comes to understand the depths of human emotion—love, pain, and attachment—embarking on a transcendent path of redemption that spans time and existence. Blending Eastern fantasy with intimate emotional storytelling, the film reflects on life, loss, and forgiveness through a distinctive visual language. Selected for the Annecy International Animation Film Festival, it has drawn significant international attention, showcasing the emerging strength of Hong Kong animation.
